rather than specifying a specific font type Arial, Courior, etc. simply have setting for Variable spaced and mono spaced (Serif and SanSerif) fonts then let the user set his/her preferences for what that is viewed on his/her computer. and when mail is sent the coding for mono spaced or variable spaced be sent.
