how to remove html formatting

Could anyone please help me. How do I
remove all formatting of web pages
to be able to copy and paste information
in plain text without any html
formatting.� All I want is some
information and the html files when
pasted to a word document or wordpad
occupies so much space in the page
and I want to remove all the tables,
indentation, margins and formatting
when the html was created.� Please
help..thanks
