Flash and XMMS?

I'm using debian, mozilla 0.9.6 and recent version of XMMS.

When I'm playing a song in XMMS and visiting a webpage that is using 
flash, mozilla freezes. When I stop playing the song, then the flash 
page loads..
How come? And can I fix this?
