I'm not aware of any way to remove yourself from bugzilla (doesn't mean
much, there are many things I'm not aware of)

However, your problem simply appears to be that you're getting more
bugmail than you want. That can be addressed in two ways :

Option 1) remove yourself from he CC list of bugs that you don't care about:
  - log in to bugzilla*
  - view the bug in question
  - select yourself in the cc: list, top right
  - check the "remove selected CCs" box
  - double check that you've REALLY selected ONLY YOURSELF and not some
other poor sap who wants to know, in detail, about every person who
    even BREATHES near this bug.
  - click the commit button
  - The bug in question will pester you no more.

* There's a link to log in to bugzilla at the bottom of every bug
page/bug list/query page, and probably a few more that I forgot about.

Option 2) amend your buzilla e-mail preferences:
  - log in to bugzilla
  - view a bug, bug list, or the query page
  - at the bottom right of the page, you should see a line :
"edit prefs | log out [EMAIL PROTECTED]"
  - click the "prefs" link
  - click "email settings"
  - play with the multitudinous settings to instruct bugzilla exactly
when to send you an e-mail

[not-at-all-serious third option] :
3) don't log any bugs that are likely to trigger a debate on the
merits/evils of any particular GUI design philosophy, operating system,
political system, TV show, Food, beverage or colour**.
