Netscape is Mozilla, but Mozilla is not Netscape.

Your question is better answered in the Netscape 6 support 
groups:

[Note that after clicking the link, you may have to go into
server properties [EDIT-Mail/News Account Settings] to enable
SSL before you can read any groups on the Secure server.
You may need to re-boot before the settings take effect.]
