The impression that I got from the way to long thread was that releasing 
the artwork under the same license as the code would give the maker of a 
derivative application the right to use the artwork for his program 
which would make it appear that the derivative app is somehow either 
related and/or endorsed by the Mozilla organization beyond the fact that 
it uses the Mozilla engine.  In other words, trademark dillution(since 
the red dragon is a Mozilla trademark), which is why they are talking to 
lawyers.
