I multi-boot Windows 2K and Linux on my laptop. Originally I used
Netscape 4.7 on my Windows partition. Then I installed Mozilla under
Linux, and I was able to make both applications share the same mail
folders and address book by pointing them to the same folder on my FAT
partition.

Mozilla looks for bookmarks.html while Netscape uses bookmark.htm. No
problem, a symlnk solved that and I am sharing bookmarks.

But now I decided to go to Mozilla 0.9.6 under my Windows partition
(because
the Mail program allows combination of IMAP and POP3). Again, mail
folders no problem, but creating a Windows shortcut called
"bookmarks.html" to point to bookmark.htm does not work, so I am
unable to share bookmarks. For some reason the address book does not
share either. I've poured through the registry and .js files to try
to find these settings but have been unsuccessful.

Any idea how I can force my Windows Mozilla to use the same bookmarks
and address books as the other apps?

Thanks,

JJ
