I agree with everything you've said. I would be happy if once I got the history window in the ungrouped view and I sort it in the order of "last visited", I could come back later on after closing that window and reopen it in the view I left it in, but that sort order does not stay. It is a very useful feature to quickly look where you've been. I do not want to resort it every time!
