I had the same problem. I was installing in the same directory as
0.9.6. I deleted the directory tree and reinstalled from the web and
it worked. Seems to be some incompatibility between the 0.9.6 files
and 0.9.7. The same did not happen on the transition from 0.9.5 to
0.9.6.
