Yeah, this is a problem. Moz uses Sun's Java plugin, and it's really 
slow. When I configure IE to use Sun's plugin, it's just as slow if not 
slower than Moz when loading applets. IE's embedded Applet engine blazes 
though.
I think there is some work being done on an embeded applet engine which 
should speed things up considerably.
