Anyway, on to answering your question... Putting <link rel="icon" href="someicon.ico"/> in the head of your HTML seems to be the preferred way. It would also seem that if you put a file called favicon.ico in the root web directory of your web server, this will also work. A lot of people seem to think that using favicon.ico instead of inserting <link ... > will help propogate the "favicon virus", and assure that all web browsers will be requesting this file from every web site it visits, without any reason to beleive that it actually exists. -- Chris
