I am having no problems, though I don't use the installer. I regularly download the nightly build: mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz All I do to install is delete the entire old mozilla directory tree, unpack the new file, and then unpack on top of it a tar file that I have that has the plugins I use (flash, pdf, and a symbolic link to java). Then I just run the Mozilla executable (which is really a startup script). It is working fine for me (on Redhat 6.2).
