Why do you keep dragging web pages into a mail/news discussion?
It's very dishonest of you to drag in irrelevant data and claim
it negates an unrelated argument.

You haven't provided any evidence that RTF/HTML improve the
content of email or news posts, and several have indicated why
RTF/HTML is undesirable in email. Yet your strongest response
keeps going back to WEB PAGES.

If you can't seperate mail/news from web browsing, then your
reasoning is far too flawed to continue this discussion. If
this is the case, stop annoying the grown-ups and go back to
your PlayStation.

Evidence please? Supporting facts? Opinions are like anuses,
everyone has one and thinks theirs smells best. Facts stand by
themselves, irrefutable.

Again, you're wandering off topic - the argument is SPECIFICALLY
about RTF in email and news postings - media which need
bandwidth and storage space to function effeciently, media which
can affect the performance and security of your computer.

And ther are many times where magazines are rendered unreadable
because of their formatting - WIRED is basically illegible, for
example.
