In netscape 4.x, we can easily modifiy the .mime.types and the .mailcap file to add a new mimeType and register an helper application to handle the mimeType.
In netscape 6.x, I think this is done via the mimeTypes.rdf file. Am I correct? if so, is there any programatical way to modify the rdf file and add in an new mimetype and helper application to handle it? this mimeTypes.rdf file is in xml and is way more complicated then the .mime.types in netscape 4.x Thanks for you help!
