I see this if I save something from a server that is dead/overloaded.  
Moz opens the save dialog, it sits at "Connecting to host..." for a 
while, then it closes and you get a 0 byte file from it.  Nothing can be 
done for not downloading the file, as for whatever reason it is 
unavailable to be downloaded, but in this case Moz should realize "Oops, 
I left something behind" and delete the 0 byte file for me
