I'm only seeing background image problems when switching from Dark to None. See if http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118560 describes the problem. The fonts appear to have regressed sometime between 2001/12/09 and 2001/12/27. The color change seems to be bug 122348 - http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122348 BTW, don't cross-post to n.p.m.general if you're posting to a more specific group, ok? ~fantasai
