I dare to say that this is hardly ever the case (At least the disabling
of window open)
While it is possible that automatic open of windows is often not
enabled, this is not the case for window openings initiated by clicking
on links or buttons or the like, because prefs.js/user.js would need to
be changed for blocking such popups.
