Like many others I was not able to get Mozilla to recognize Real Player plugin. When I check about:plugin the RealPlayer plugin appeared listed but it didn't seem to be recognized by any page that required it. I also have Netscape 6.2.1 and it works fine with it. When I check about:plugins in Netscape 6.2.1 version I also noticed that *RealPlayer(tm) G2 LiveConnect-Enabled Plug-In (32-bit)* appears listed too. This plugin's filepath is in *C:\Program Files\Netscape\Netscape 6\components\nppl3260.dll*. It also appears in the same Mozilla component directory yet it doesn't get loaded when running Mozilla. I decided to copy the file nppl3260.dll from Mozilla's component directory to Mozilla's plugin directory, reintalled RealPlayer One and rebooted the computer and voila, The Liveconnect plugin appeared listed in about:plugins in Mozilla. Went to a site that required RealPlayer to work (abcnews.com, video sections) and guess what *IT WORKS* perfectly!
I looked to see if there was a bug for this but couldn't find it. Anyone having the same issue with Real Player should try what I did to see if it works dor you. RV
