Yeah, tell me about it. Same people, different parties. Or, as many have 
put it before, same difference. :P Whether it's the Republicans or the 
Democrats who are in 'power', the real sceptre is held by the corporate 
lobby groups, and a nice select group of unknown advisors in government 
agencies such as the CIA.

Must we forget so easily, that most, if not all, do NOT have the option 
to just up and go from those countries, except perhaps to refugee camps 
in other countries, where disease and lack of space run rampant?

I wish the bloody US government would drop it's imperialist stance and 
finally be what it originally meant to be. Otherwise, it's just as bad, 
if not worse, than the Empire from which it 'freed' itself from many 
years ago.
