If you have IMAP, it can get messy given that you have to be "online" to read all mail. But what I do is bring up the advanced search window and search for the email that way. Through the search window, you can then delete the spams you want without "viewing them." I know, it's kind of messy, but it's what I've found that works for the time being, until a better way comes along (which seems to be the case with the latest nightly build). If, however, you want to forward the email without viewing, you use the advanced search button to move the spam to a local folder. Then go offline with Mozilla (File / Offline / Work Offline. Note that this won't disconnect your connection). You can then safely read the spam emails in your local box without having web bugs and so on verifying your address. If you're forwarding to spamcop, you can then forward each spam to your reporting address. Mozilla which is still operating offline will just copy it to the "Unsent messages" folder. When you select to go online again, Mozilla will ask if you want to send your unsent forwarded emails. Click Yes and you've now reported the spams. Again, it's messy, but it's what I've found to kind of work. Sarch -- Spamblock in action: Remove NOTREAL from email address to reply via email.
