Please read http://css.nu/faq/ciwas-aFAQ.html#QA01 and #QA02, as well as the links they point to. Also consider accessibility problems that invariably arise when using absolute/fixed font sizes. See http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10-CSS-TECHS/#units. BTW, px is technically a relative unit, but is not resizable in all browsers, so for all practical purposes should be considered an absolute unit.
