Hi, for the last 10 minutes I've been trying to get a screen shot
demonstrating an annoying problem with mozilla rendering. For small
fonts (maybe for all fonts) mozilla can't seem to decide which of two
vertically adjacent pixels to put the base line on (for maybe only one
line of text out of the whole screen
I sometimes see:
# #
#
### ### ## #### # ## #### ### ####
# # # # # # # # # # # ###
# # # # # # # # # #### # /vvvvvv A missing row
## # # ##### ## # ## # #### #### ### \^^^^^^ of pixels
each case will suddenly flick to displaying the line correctly when I
select the text, but that leaves the next line one pixel off (and that
line moves when you select it, etc...).
This obviously isn't a show-stopper, but until I found that selecting
made mozilla display the text correctly, some web pages were very hard
to read.
I haven't got a test case because you can't see the problem if you're on
a high res screen, so it'll be different for everyone. But any really
small text size seems to do.
Is there a bug on this already?
