i am using .98 new release on mandrake 8.1 linux

pages all render correct on screen; but unable to print anything with
graphics in it; text comes through in printout; but big solid blocks are
rendered all over printout. the same result when i use print to file
option ; the resulting .ps file when viewed with viewer looks exactly
like it prints with big colored blocks and text ( i can send example). it
appears to me that the print to file option comes out the same regardless
of which printer i have set as default in cups, so i think the problem is
happenning before it gets to any of the printer filters.

using same mozilla version on my other computer it renders printouts and
ps files correctly, under mandrake 8.0, both have same cups version and
same printers and drivers, printers are located on network server and
work correctly in other apps. same situation in old netscape communictor
although with that i just get a little square where the image should be.

i am assuming that this must be something relating to some package or
packages that the html to ps is using to come up with the ps file, that
must be different from one computer to the other;

can anyone point me in the direction to find which package(s) or
libraries i should be looking at. i am kind of new to linux, but have
some familiarity with it, but this has me lost.

thanx for any help
