Halloechen! I once sumitted a bug report concerning the layout (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172819). >From the summary:
"An inline <img> element immediately followed by text without white space inbetween, may be separated from that text by a line break. [...]" I experience the same problem with MathML fragments. Has it the same cause? In other words, when 172819 will be fixed, will by MathML problem vanish? Tschoe, Torsten.
