Hello,
Whether or not there is a vertical scrollbar visible in Mozilla effects
the available page size and therefore the page layout.
IE always diplays the runway for the vertical scrollbar, whether or not
the scrollbar itself is displayed, which means that the available page
size is always the same.
I would prefer to have the IE approach, because in Mozilla you get
annoying page re-layouts as you traverse a series of similar pages that
differ mostly in just the presence of vertical scrollbar.
Is there a way to force Mozilla to display the vertical scrollbar (or at
least the runway for it) using Javascript or some other "content" based
method?
thanks
joe
