It occurred to me that another possibility (in addition to putting all these in a nodes/ subdirectory, is that they could all have "nodes-" prefixed on to the names. And I think I prefer "base" to "core" if possible.
prefixes are sad for TAB-completion, and xul-nodes sounds more fluent than nodes-xul to me, too. Though I understand the nodes-story to be said and done anyway.
