The problem is: <div style="position:absolute; left:50px; top:50px; width:400px; height:100px;> <span style="vertical-align:bottom;">some text</span> </div>
Does anyone know, how to force the span to align to BOTTOM of the div?
You can't without positioning it (though setting the line-height to the height of the div, _may_ work, depending on how one interprets that).
