I would be interested to work on a page layout for the editor. In OpenOffice, it is possible to compose a html doc with a page layout.
What exactly does that mean?

It is? Resolved means the issue is gone. In this case @page is not implemented, now is it?

For not being checked in? Yes. The patch doesn't have review. At this point it needs some heavy updating to changes that have happened in layout and the style system since, as well.
