I am trying to create a cross-platform, command line application that takes a Web URL as input, uses something like GRE to load, parse and render it (*without* creating a window) and then gives me access to the rendered 'area' so I can write it out as a bitmap.
http://interreality.org/wwwvos/projects/crystalzilla is supposed to allow this; but I am not sure whether it works with the most current Mozilla version. It probably works with 1.7.x.
