I can reproduce this only in OS/2 trunk, both at 1280x960 with ft2lib 1.0 eCS 1.14 using 10pt Trebuchet for system menus, and at 1024x768 with and without ft2lib 1.0 MCP2 using the standard WarpSans menus font. 1.7.8 won't do it, and Linux & W32 trunk won't do it.

I confirm your observation. I am at 1280x960 with ft2lib working. I am using the New Times Roman MT30 font, so I don't think the font is a factor. MCP with fixpack 3 and trunk nightly build of May 12,2005.
