Hello,

I've got some questions about the MPL. I'm not a lawyer, so it's kind of
hard to interpret the license...

It's about a Delphi component called SynEdit which is being released under
the MPL.
-Can I use (unchanged) SynEdit in a commercial application (without giving
away the source or telling everybody I'm using SynEdit) ?
-Of course I'd give away the source code, if I had found a bug or a new
feature.
But if I write a new syntax highlighter (must be a derived class of
SynHighlighter class), must I give the source code away? (it's a brand new
component, but to be accepted by synedit it must be derived from a
highlighter or I'd have to change SynEdit itself...)
-I don't have to give away the source code of my program if I react an
OnPaint event or similar, do I ?

Thank you very much in advance,

Yours sincerely,
Franz Mueller
