One important thing: When I initially asked the question I was not yet sure about the sources' eh... source. I have since found out that they indeed are from mozilla.org, namely: http://lxr.mozilla.org/classic/source/cmd/xfe/Microline3.0/XmL/
Ah. That's a bit different, then. :-)
Why is this not part of the Mozilla project? Could it become so (and thus relicensed) with a simple declaration by someone? (I understand that the code tree will not be reorganized.)
I'm not completely certain about the legal situation here. Let me get back to you.
