It may very well be that Imam?s and priests get paid to lead mosque/church but leaders must be elected/rejected by people not the committees the reason being committees can be corrupt and motivated by political issues than religious issues. I honestly did not know what was going on, around me were only jewish students in the class during that week, from all sorts of regions, like African, Turkish, Asian and Irani, Pakistani jews. This man was apparently from NSA, he openly threatened me and told me that they will kill me. During the first half of the day he and his students tried to communicate with me but failed as I was asleep. So I went to a coffee shop at lunch time.
