Yes, there are menu shortcuts. When I am typing in the text window
of the composer I would simply like to have a full-featured set
of keyboard shortcuts, preferably with Emacs bindings. tcsh and
bash have much better command line editing that mozilla composer.
This does not make sense. A composer should have functional keymaps.
One problem may be that certain traditional emacs-like shortcuts
now conflict with menu-shortcuts. Didn't the designer think of this
and make it possible for user's to customize it at all? Or are we
stuck with a half-functional editor window in the composer? I
find myself having to edit messages in Emacs and mouse the text
into the composer before sending it, rather than just typing
in the composer window. Surely I am not the only person who
experiences this difficulty.
