I see the recipient in my "Sent" folder on my imap server and the "Sent"
folder under "Local Folders".
What icon appears to the left of the "Sent" folder in the folder pane?
Does it look special, or does it look like the icon that is to the left
of the other normal folders.
The code that shows "recipient" instead of "sender" gets executed if the
folder is flagged as a "sent" folder. If the folder is flagged as
"sent", the icon will be different, too.
Is your "sent" mail getting copied into your "sent" folder?
go to "Edit | Mail / News Account Settings ..." and see what your
"Copies and Folders" prefs are set to.
