I recently switched to AT&T @ Home in order to get high speed internet
service. Their news server is nntp.corp.home.net. When I try to list the
newsgroups in it, I get the error "access denied <unknown
@ -host-.clmba1.mo.home.com>. You do not have connect permissions in the
access file". -host- refers to my host ID that I must enter into the Router
Name field on my Linksys BEFSR11 DSL/Cable router. I can access this news
server in Microsoft Outlook with no problems (that is how I am sending this
mail). I am using Netscape Communicator 4.75. With my previous ISP, I was
able to access news in Netscape from their news server news.socket.net.
