Hi, I'm sorry to write to you like this. For some reason I am not able to get to post messages on the netscape newsgroup and I have a problem at hand. Anyways .. here is the problem. I have written a plugin for a particular MimeType and it works fine. ie whenever a url leading to a file of that Mime Type is opened in the browser it calls my plugin. The problem is when that file is opened from a link. Say I hav a page abc.htm on the browser with a link to 123.xyz. Now when I click on the link, my browser URL changes to 123.xyz .. it tries to load that on the browser and hence calls my plugin doing what I intend to do. But, in the process I loose my abc.htm page from the NS browser and need to do a back to get back to it. Instead I want it to read the MimeType from the link itself and call the plugin without changing the content of my browser window. Is That possible ?
