Here's one that I'm almost embarrassed to bring up, because it is so
trivial. But I can't find any way around it, and it annoys me horribly,
because It's Not The Way Pine Does It, and Pine Is The Ultimate Email
Program (tm). On Mozilla .6, as near as I can determine there is simply
no way to just enter an address in the "To:" line of the compose window,
because there is no "To:" line in the compose window. Instead, you have
to go and create a card in the address book every single time. I find
this so confusing that it took me five minutes to figure out how to
compose a message from scratch rather than replying.
I hate this so much that I could never use mozilla mailnews unless it's
fixed, and that's a shame because it seems like quite a nice program.
Having made myself sound like a non-programming choom -- I don't mind
fixing it myself and I do indeed know how. But it seems so obvious that
I can't believe there's not a way to do it. Am I missing something
obvious?
