I can connect to the port 993 (with SSL turned on) of the IMAP4
server at my school with a recent build of Mozilla for MS-Windows
(2000-12-20-04) and Netscape 6 but my attempt with a recent build for
Linux (2000-12-21-08) and one compiled by me (with the source taken off
CVS around the midnight EST today) failed with a message that 'connection
to the server refused'. Connecting to the port 143 (with SSL turned off)
works fine. I barely remembers reading only Winodws builds support SSL
a long time ago, but I thought things have changed since and I can use
SSL in Linux builds as well. I just wanna know whether what I'm observing
is a bug with recent Linux builds or what I have to expect from Linux
builds until SSL support is added to Linux/Unix builds (although I can't
come up with any reason why it's not there wheras Windows builds have it)

Thank you in advance,

Jungshik Shin
