small Mozilla mail curiosity

I'm delighted with Mozilla 0.7, and  have started using it regularly 
instead of Netscape 4.76.  (I'm running RedHat Linux 6.1) 

I have noticed one small curiosity in the mail interface.  If I 
highlight a number of messages and delete them, the last message 
continues to show up on screen until I close the mail task and reopen it.
