Actually, this is something recent. Today's build compared to last
Friday's build is noticeably slower at opening folders, navigating
messages, populating replies with original message quote and maybe other
areas. I'm not sure what caused this but I think that anyone using mail
last week will notice the performance degradation in today's builds.
It seems like we're hitting the CPU for a longer period for the actions
I listed above.
