Hi.
I'm a netscape user for a long time, especially for news. I was pretty
happy with the 4.7 messenger, apart from some missing filters, but I
could workaround. I know that Netscape4 will be dead soon, and I'm
looking for a replacement, especially for news. I looked at Mozilla for
that, and I must admit, I'm not at all happy with it, for the lack of
one simple button:
"Go to message folder" in the search result window. In the current
state, search with the only option to open a resulting post in it's own
window, but not in the thread view, makes the whole newsreader function
useless for me. Is it possible to bring this functionality back to
Mozilla? I'm not a programmer, but I don't think it's too complicated.
Together with more sophisticated filters (i.e. unread messages to me),
Mozilla could be the Newsreader of choice.
