Just installed version 6 today (1/26) (I was using 4.75).. Boy am I glad
that I kept 4.75 on the machine...
I haven't gotten too far in 6, but have found many problems with the
usenet news reader...
- SOOOO slow
- every time I want to add a newsgroup, it seems to take a LONG time to
look for the new groups to add.
- Now we cannot search for a particular newsgroup
- not all the groups are showing up in 6, that are showing up in 4.75
- would like to see (quickly - like in 4.75) what NEW newsgroups have
been added...
- cannot (Ctrl)(m) to mark all messages in a group as read....
I'm sure there's more to add...
