Newsserver with Username/Pass

Mozilla 0.7
The password manager saves my username and password for the newsserver.
for reading groups this works fine.
but if I want to send to a group, I have to enter my username and 
password once for every group.
it looks like the password manager doesn't save the login to the server 
but to the _group_ itself!
didn't find a bug on this, should I add one?
