"Save as Draft" converts to HTML

When I have saved a mail as "Draft" or "Template" and reopens it, all the 
national characters is shown as HTML (For example: ä instead of ä).
It will be sent this way, and not all of my friends are capable to interpret it.

Is this a bug or is my settings incorrect?
Or should start only having friends that is capable of reading raw HTML? :-)
