No text in mail thingy.

I recently unistalled Netscape 6 to replace it with Mozilla, but I am
unable to use anything related to mail or news because there is no text
on the buttons etc.

Even in the menu bars, everything that relates to the mailing system is
missing.  I have tried changing skins, but nothing.

Could somebody shed some light on how to fix this.
