Well, you can sometimes tell if there are plans for something -- if the
person or people involved posts to the relevant newsgroup (or in the
relevant bug report) saying that they're working on it. But you can
never tell if there *aren't* plans for something -- it's possible that
there might be a secret team in Bulgaria working on all sorts of cool
features for Mozilla, who aren't going to announce anything until their
patches are ready.
In this case, someone is working on it, they're just waiting for Dave
