Wrong NG but ...

On Windows the file you need to edit is called prefs.js an is hidden
away
in you Netscape user directory.
To allow you to use POP3 Server user-names containing
a @ such as [EMAIL PROTECTED] 

user_pref("mail.allow_at_sign_in_user_name", true);
