There's no LDAP GUI implemented (but in the works by Netscape and Sun).

To get ldap:-url support, you have to --enable-ldap-experimental. 
Compare <http://webtools.mozilla.org/build/config.cgi>. Also see the 
README in the directory/xpcom/ (IIRC) source dir.
