Lately there have been a lot of bugs filed against
mail compose for not being able to send mail. For some of the cases there
is a
temporary workaround. In the MailNews window goto Edit->Mail/News
Account Settings. Select the Outgoing Server (SMTP) and check to see if Use
Secure Connection(SSL) is used
'whenever available' or
'always'. If it is either one of these then change it to
'Never'. If this doesnt solve the problem then file a bug.
